Professional Drone Photography, Video Production & Virtual Tours
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking services with Sky Story Productions (“Company”), the client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all aerial photography, videography, inspection services, mapping work, real estate photography, and virtual tour services provided by the Company.
2. Services Provided
Sky Story Productions provides professional aerial and ground-based services including but not limited to:
Drone photography and videography
Real estate photography and video marketing
3D virtual tours and immersive property tours
Aerial inspections for commercial or infrastructure applications
Mapping and data capture services
The specific services to be provided will be outlined in the client’s service agreement or project estimate.
3. FAA Compliance
All drone operations conducted by Sky Story Productions comply with applicable regulations set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under Part 107.
Flights may be limited or restricted due to:
Controlled airspace restrictions
Temporary flight restrictions (TFRs)
Weather conditions
Safety considerations
Local laws or property restrictions
If a flight cannot legally or safely be conducted, the Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the service.
4. Scheduling and Weather Policy
Drone operations are highly dependent on weather conditions.
Flights may be postponed or rescheduled due to:
High winds
Rain or snow
Poor visibility
Unsafe flying conditions
The Company will work with the client to schedule the next available suitable date.
5. Property Access and Permissions
The client is responsible for obtaining permission from property owners, tenants, or property managers before services are performed.
The client also agrees that:
The property is safe and accessible for operations
Any necessary permissions or waivers have been obtained
No illegal or restricted activities are requested
Sky Story Productions reserves the right to decline services if conditions appear unsafe or unauthorized.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise stated in writing:
A deposit may be required at the time of booking
Full payment is due upon delivery of final media or within the agreed invoice terms
Late payments may incur additional fees
Accepted payment methods may include cash, credit card, or electronic payment.
7. Cancellation Policy
Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule services.
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in:
Loss of deposit
Cancellation fees
Additional scheduling fees
Weather-related cancellations will not incur penalties.
8. Delivery of Media
Final media files will typically be delivered digitally through download links or file sharing platforms.
Delivery times may vary depending on project scope but are generally:
Real estate photography: 24–48 hours
Video production: 3–7 business days
Virtual tours: 2–5 business days
Complex projects may require additional processing time.
9. Usage Rights and Licensing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Sky Story Productions retains copyright ownership of all captured media.
The client receives a non-exclusive license to use the media for marketing and promotional purposes related to the property or project.
Clients may not:
Sell or transfer media to third parties
Alter media beyond standard marketing edits
Use media for unrelated projects without written permission
Additional licensing may be purchased if broader usage is required.
10. Portfolio and Promotional Use
Sky Story Productions reserves the right to use photographs, video footage, and virtual tours for:
Company portfolio
Website and social media marketing
Promotional materials
Clients may request confidentiality for sensitive projects in writing prior to the shoot.
11. Liability and Safety
Sky Story Productions maintains professional safety procedures and equipment.
However, the Company is not liable for:
Delays caused by weather or airspace restrictions
Third-party property damage unrelated to operations
Client misuse of delivered media
The client agrees to hold Sky Story Productions harmless from liability resulting from improper use of delivered materials.
12. Limitations of Drone Operations
Drone services may be limited by:
FAA flight restrictions
Airspace authorization requirements
Physical obstacles such as power lines or buildings
Safety hazards on site
In such cases, the Company will attempt to capture the best possible imagery within legal and safe operational limits.
13. Data Storage
Sky Story Productions will retain project files for a limited time.
Media files are typically stored for 30–60 days after delivery
Long-term storage is not guaranteed
Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up delivered files.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, unless otherwise required by applicable jurisdiction.
15. Amendments
Sky Story Productions reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will apply to future bookings.
